What to ask before you hire
General questions worth asking any company. They are not about Reglen Securitech Solutions Pty Ltd in particular.
Alarm systems
- Is the alarm monitored, and by which control room?
- Are the sensors wired or wireless, and how long do the batteries last?
- Does the panel keep working through load-shedding, and for how long?
Any security company
- Ask for the company's PSIRA registration number and check it yourself on the official PSIRA register.
- Ask whether the staff who will install or respond are individually registered with PSIRA.
